Animada desde muy pequeña por su padre, Saleta convirtió la cámara en compañera y la fotografía en su mayor afición. En 1998, decide comenzar su formación técnica en este campo de la mano de Nacho Rubiera y Angélica Soleiman en la escuela de fotografía B19. A partir de entonces, participa en numerosos cursos y talleres, entre los que destacan los impartidos por el fotógrafo Rafael Navarro.

Su obra en el campo del desnudo, y casi siempre desde el terreno de la abstracción, le abre las puertas a las primeras exposiciones colectivas a partir del año 2000, estableciéndose poco tiempo después como fotógrafa publicitaria. Sin embargo, circunstancias personales la obligan a apartarse momentáneamente de la fotografía comercial y regresar al mundo del Derecho. En ese periodo, los reportajes que realiza en sus viajes mantienen viva su pasión y su conexión con el mundo de la fotografía y, preparan su regreso ya de manera profesional.

Apasionada por la naturaleza en todas sus vertientes, ya sea como una manera de atrapar formas o como un ejercicio puro de abstracción, actualmente se encuentra inmersa en un proyecto que indaga sobre su esencia. Es decir, sobre la condición constructiva y destructiva de la naturaleza y su capacidad para provocar distintos sentimientos que terminan incidiendo en el mismo proceso creativo.

Encouraged from an early age by her father, Saleta turned the camera as her companion and photography as her greatest passion. In 1998 she decided to start her technical training in this field at the hands of Nacho Rubiera and Angelica Soleiman in B19 school of photography. Since then, she has attended several courses and workshops, standing out the ones conducted by the photographer Rafael Navarro.

Her work in the field of the nude, usually in the abstraction ground, opened her the door to the first group exhibitions in 2000. Shortly after, she established herself as an advertising photographer. However, personal circumstances forced her to leave commercial photography temporarily aside, and returned to the practice of law. During this period, the photo reports of her trips kept her passion and the connection with the photography world alive, and in a way, prepared her final return to it as her profession and modus vivendi.

Passionate about nature in all its facets, whether it is to catch shapes or as an abstraction exercise, currently she is immersed in a project that explores on its essence. In other words, it explores on nature´s constructive and destructive condition and its ability to trigger different feelings that end up influencing the creative process.
