Nature Rules

Nature Rules reúne una selección de fotografías realizadas en zonas desérticas de Namibia y el Golfo Pérsico, dos enclaves emblemáticos donde la autora se ha encontrado a sí misma a través de las imágenes. El paisaje no es sólo una porción de espacio, constituye un trozo de memoria que nos sirve para entender el mundo y nuestra posición en él. Observarlo con detenimiento, pararnos a ver sus matices, los cambios sutiles de la luz sobre las superficies, el color en el cielo o las texturas de la tierra agitada por el aire, nos permite acercarnos a lo que somos, mirar hacia el interior y asumir la inmensidad de la que formamos parte más allá de los entornos urbanos que habitamos y el ritmo trepidante que nos impone la sociedad hoy.

Nature Rules brings together a selection of photographs taken in desert areas of Namibia and the Persian Gulf, two emblematic enclaves where the author has found herself through images. The landscape is not only a portion of space, it is a piece of memory that helps us to understand the world and our position in it. Observing it carefully, stopping to see its nuances, the subtle changes of light on the surfaces, the color in the sky or the textures of the earth shaken by the air, allows us to get closer to what we are, to look inward and assume the immensity of which we are part beyond the urban environments we inhabit and the hectic pace imposed on us by today’s society.
